Harvest Moon 2011 . . . thanks to the ingenuity of my nephew . . . and his willingness to share his tabletop telescope . . . and his patience with his Aunt's questions . . . I finally sorta figured out his method for getting a decent photo of a full moon . . . thank you, Monty!
Good morning, Jasia . . . I've been meaning to send you a note about what your recommendations might be for a point and shoot camera . . . will get that done this a.m. . . .
This was done with my little vintage Polaroid digital camera . . . it is at least 3-4 years old, so I guess it would be a dinosaur by today's standards . . . anyway . . . it is the only point and shoot camera I have right now . . . and I'm looking to buy a new one . . .
The other accessory is a tabletop telescope borrowed from my nephew . . . he captured some awesome moon images several months ago . . . and did so using his pocket-size point and shoot camera that cost about $150 . . . by putting the little lens right into the eyepiece on the telescope! . . .
His photos are a lot sharper than mine . . . but I am quite pleased with how this turned out . . . would have never thought of trying this on my own . . .

ReplyDeleteGreat shot! I'm in awe of those who can take a great moon shot. I have yet to figure out how to get one.
