This is one of my many experiments / failures . . . for the first time today, I set the camera on manual focus . . . snapped 284 shots in the house and outside after dark . . . in this shot I was trying to manually focus on my althea bush with the almost full moon behind it . . . kinda hard to focus on something I can barely see . . . it was quite breezy outside . . . and somewhat cloudy at times . . . hope to try again tomorrow night . . .
I don't have a problem with cropping, sometimes the only way to capture what you want in a photo is to capture things you don't want as well. I will crop them out in a heart beat. Cropping allows the viewer to focus on what you want them to see, what you were trying to capture when you clicked that shutter. Crop away.

ReplyDeleteSorry, I don't think it is a failure, I think it is artsy and wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYou're too kind, Carol . . . but . . . at least I did not crop this time! :)

ReplyDeleteVery cool photo! I can't tell you how many times I've tried to photograph the moon, with no success. I'll keep trying though, lol!
ReplyDeleteBtw, I crop too... not often, but when it makes the picture better I do it.
